Job Description

We are looking to hire a Wellness Operations Manager for YO1, a modern and unique exclusive wellness center (alternative healthcare) with guest rooms and support spaces totaling over 260,000 square feet located in Monticello, New York. This role is based in Monticello, New York, within Sullivan County, two hours from Manhattan and a short drive from Middletown, Port Jervis and Milford.

The wellness operations manager is responsible for the operational optimization of the wellness center in collaboration with naturopathic and ayurvedic practitioners. This position requires an adherence to the highest quality standards and an ability to not only understanding the guest experience but how to improve it by exceeding the guests expectations.


-Manage and administer all wellness operations to include, but not limited to, guest service, product quality and innovation, inventory management and cost controls, systems use and management, budget and forecasting, report generation, department management and meeting participation and facilitation.

-Monitor employee performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations, providing professional development and delivering recognition and reward.

-Maintains a fully staffed facility by recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training all staff.

-Provides excellent customer service and monitors guest feedback.

-Support coordination of Wellness department activities, assist of distribution of materials, communication broadcasts including presentations when needed.

-Equipment oversight and maintenance with Facilities team.

-To maintain the cleanliness and safety of work areas.

-Follow compliance with company safety standards, and state and local regulations that pertain to your department.

-Performs other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelors degree with concentration in hospitality management, health and wellness or similar required
  • Must have proven experience managing a wellness center or retreat
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must be fluent in English. Additional languages a plus
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service
  • Exceptional Time Management Skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively solve problems
  • Confident, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines working under pressure
  • Computer savvy (CRM, Microsoft Office)
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
