Job Description Overview

The PTFE Machine Operator shall, at a minimum, be responsible for the following functions:

  • Operate and clean out PTFE extrusion equipment in compliance with SOPs
  • Identify nonconforming product and report to immediate supervisor
  • Complete all standard production documentation per SOP
  • Perform miscellaneous department cleaning
  • Maintain clean working environment
  • Comply with company safety and quality standards
  • Follow company applicable procedures, policies, and work instructions
  • Perform other tasks as directed by management

Job Qualifications

The PTFE Machine Operator shall, at minimum, have the following pre-hire qualifications:

  • Proficiency with handheld measuring equipment
  • Working knowledge of machine shop practices
  • Able to follow directions
  • Ability to communicate with coworkers and supervisors effectively
  • Detail oriented
  • Some lifting required
  • Ability to work with minimal guidance and supervision

This career opportunity is a temporary full-time position with the potential to become a permanent position.
