OverviewIn this role you will: Sources, negotiates and purchases machinery, equipment, tools, raw material, packaging materials, parts, services, and/or supplies necessary for operation of an organization. Monitors and selects suppliers based on performance and other factors. Compiles and analyzes information to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes. Identifies opportunities to leverage material acquisitions. Negotiates with suppliers and analyzes suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and to determine lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules. Selects vendors and service providers. Responsible for following up with order. May participate in preparation for request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.Senior Procurement Specialist who will perform cradle to grave procurement support in compliance with corporate procurement process and CPSR alignment. Responsibilities include all buying functions associated with Health and Civilian Sector including purchase orders, subcontract agreements, modifications, proposal creation and issuance, RFQ response review and award of vendor/supplier as well as subcontract orders. This role is responsible for the Small Business Liaison function and will perform all required ISR/SSR submissions for awarded SB Plans. Responsibilities:
