This position oversees a designated Quinn territory and requires a complete grasp of the Ag Machine sales function. The Ag sales opportunities in this territory are growing and dynamic. The position not only encompasses the management of Ag machine sales, inventories, and deliveries, but also needs to ensure the proper ongoing training and development of the Ag sales team in response to changing market situations. This position requires planning and innovative communication to support company goals. It is essential that the incumbent is fully engaged and contributing in the overall management process and at all levels in the Ag Machine Sales Department. This individual is a company leader who must act as a role model for other employees and maintain the highest professional standards in relationships both within the company and with company customers and suppliers. This individual oversees the efficient operation of Ag Machine Sales for achievement of financial and market share goals by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers and employees.
Manages subordinate supervisors who supervise employees in the Ag Machine Sales Department. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, structure, and evaluation of this business unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work.
Appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees.
Addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Training duties include the annual ride-along customer calls with each Sales Representative.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and five to six years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
