ROLE SUMMARY
The PGS Manufacturing & Engineering Solutions Team is responsible for the delivery of Pfizer s Core Digital Manufacturing Operations Management (MoM) capabilities at every level of the PGS Plant Network (ISA 95 Levels 0-4). These solutions are critical to Manufacturing Execution, Manufacturing Process Intelligence and Production Optimization that aim to improve product quality, increase asset utilization/uptime, automate manual workflows and streamline plant floor operations. The PGS Manufacturing & Engineering Solutions Team provides common application platforms and solution capabilities for Digital Plant, Manufacturing Operations, Manufacturing Execution, Manufacturing Excellence and Manufacturing & Engineering Technology solutions, while ensuring a unified User Centric Design. Key to the success of this transformative digital mindset is the secure, seamless flow of contextualized data from the device & control levels, all the way to the top of the Enterprise. These solutions are deployed across more than fifty manufacturing & center locations across the PGS Globally. Major Core Solutions and team capabilities for the Manufacturing Excellence Solutions team include:
Manufacturing Excellence Solutions: PGS Unified Data Hub & Data Science Workbench, IMEx Analytics, Batch Tracker and Manufacturing Intelligence

The Manager, Solution Owner, Digital Plant Solutions colleague will be responsible for business case development, functional requirements, solution delivery support, functional application expertise, business change management, new projects, solution utilization analysis, and client partner liaison. This position will focus on working with the business stakeholders as a Digital partner to address emerging requirements in the Digital Plant Solutions space and evaluate requirements for fit to the Digital Plant solution portfolio, either adding to existing solutions or defining new solutions. The candidate will also be responsible to execute new deliverables following Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
The Manager, Solution Owner, Digital Plant Solutions colleague s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Accountable for delivering value based Digital Plant solutions (Digital Operations Center) to the business;
Converting various customer requirements into standard functionality and core solutions for Digital Plant Solutions
Working with User Groups, Sites, Pfizer Global Supply stakeholders, and Digital Plant Solutions Client Partner to track value realization for the Digital Plant portfolio;
Define Change Management approach for new solutions. Including Stakeholder Analysis, Communications Planning, and Training Plans.
Core member and contributor of the Digital Plant Solutions Community of Practice and Users Group;
Evaluate existing core solutions deployments to determine if the users are maximizing utilization of functionality;
Manage projects for solution delivery. Includes managing scope, resources, and costs;
Provide continuous improvement services for existing users/sites. Propose functional changes as required;
Ensure compliance with global standards for application development and testing, including documentation standards as per GMP;
Regulatory Compliance Methodology (GRC and SDLC);
Plan assignments of direct reports to support Domain teams.
Must be able to work independently as well as with a team.
Collaborates with key stakeholders across PGS, Digital and Strategic Partners

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science (or similar sciences)
A minimum of 5 years related work experience
Strong process and procedure skills, most particularly regarding SDLC, functional enhancement governance, and stakeholder management;
Knowledge of SDLC/ELC/GRC and project management processes;
Experience supporting the implementation of IT solutions;
Prior experience gathering and defining requirements for reporting and analytics;
Demonstrated ability to perform technical project management;
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to effectively communicate with the appropriate project stakeholders and senior business leadership;
Ability to collaborate with vendor partners / project teams;
Ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization who possess varying levels of technical expertise;
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities;
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage interpersonal relationships;
Demonstrated ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical personnel;
Must have the ability to work across multiple concurrent operations and projects and be flexible to adapt to changing priorities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Agile Software Delivery and/or Scrum Master Certification
  • PMI certification preferred but not required
  • MBA
