Industrial Gas Filtration and Generation Division, Parker Hannifin Corp, specializes in the design, manufacture and distribution of compressed air & gas treatment, on-site gas generation systems and clean air solutions.

Major Duties

We are looking for a reliable, skilled maintenance team member to manage and perform a variety of tasks. In this position you will be responsible for managing and completing preventative maintenance tickets, inspections and repairs to buildings, equipment, and grounds. All work will be done in compliance with EPA, Hazmat and OSHA safety rules and regulations. Being reliable and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail is essential in this job, as the ideal candidate will have significant work experience and solid technical knowledge. You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.

Responsibilities

1. Coordinate and perform HANDS-ON maintenance of building, machinery and grounds, procurement of necessary materials. 2. Evaluate maintenance requests, set priorities and process work assignments. 3. Manage or assist with facility renovations, upgrades, contractor assignments. 4. Establish and maintain a reliable network of outside vendors and suppliers to ensure cost effective and timely support of the maintenance function. 5. Support environmental requirements, hazardous waste, health and safety for the facility, including but not limited to lock out-tag out, fire sprinkler system and extinguishers, forklifts. 6. Perform routine safety inspections (ladders, machine guarding, fork trucks, slings, and chains, etc.) 7. Familiarity with ISO 9001 / 14001 initiatives 8. Make recommendations on building maintenance needs and improvements. 9. Install electrical conduit, wiring switching devices, controls, outlets, fixtures, motors and other such equipment. 10. Test, maintain and evaluate electrical equipment. 11. Perform skilled maintenance activities including construction and general plumbing. 12. Knowledge of welding and brazing a plus. 13. Prepare accurate records for preventative and predictive maintenance. 14. Follow established safety and environmental policies, procedures and methods applicable to the work area. 15. Must have Valid driver's license.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). EXPERIENCE: 10+ years of related maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Familiar with OSHA Health, and Safety rules and regulations. Experience with Industrial plant electrical wiring and code requirements, machine mechanical and electrical operation. PLC operation and troubleshooting a plus. Familiarity with air compressors, heating and air conditioning, plumbing, welding, electrical/electronic equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics and heavy manufacturing equipment. Ability to use and maintain a computerized maintenance work order notification system. Capable of developing and maintaining a preventive maintenance program that includes writing standard work instructions for the equipment. Knowledge of mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic & hydraulic systems. Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety codes of the trades involved. Skill in the care and use of tools and equipment used in the trades involved. Ability to interpret and work from sketches and diagrams. Strong communication skills Must be able to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment as necessary
