JOB SUMMARY: Responsibilities include performing prep work that is associated with production of skins, costuming and ride vehicles. Responsibilities also include transportation of materials and parts needed to the Creative Fabrication Shop and Central Shops. Additional responsibilities will be to clean and assemble equipment and tools for work operations and disassemble when complete. This will include pulling parts and moving parts as needed.




MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:







+ Clean and prep Creative Fabrication equipment and material as per documentation and procedures. Disassembly of tools and components as directed, cleaning of components as to what is required and preparing components for reassembly. Assisting the Creative Fabrication team in assembly of skins and like material.










+ Operates forklift, high reach, and load-all to move materials from trucks and shelves to the Creative Fabrication Shop or warehouse and from the warehouse or Creative Fabrication Shop, as well as to various attractions.




+ Set up and tear down of job operations. This would include moving and staging of equipment and supplies, pulling parts from inventory and disposing of old parts.




+ Cycle equipment as directed. This would be tools, vehicles and safety items. This could be to bring up for the days operation or for troubleshooting.







QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. EDUCATION: High school degree or GED preferred.




EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years general shop work and experience with tools and small equipment required. Position will encompass significant On-the-job-training.




CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid Florida Drivers License/ required to operate company vehicles. CDL truck license preferred.




ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: ON-THE-JOB-TRAINING: Three days of learning company policies and procedures. Forklift Operations and safety operations per company and OSHA standards (4 hours/annually). CDL (1 hour annually).







+ PEOPLESOFT CODED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 9005 Forklift Operation 9001 Machine Operation.




+ LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.




+ MATHEMATICAL SKILL: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.




+ REASONING ABILITY: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
