This is a Weekend Night Shift position, hours of the shift are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 6PM-6:30AM. The Maintenance Coach is responsible for ensuring that multiple equipment types within the Regional Distribution Center (RDC) are fully operational. The incumbent supervises a high performing team that is capable of analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing broken equipment, as well as performing preventive maintenance tasks. The Maintenance Coach works with the Maintenance Manager and contractors to coordinate new construction and facilities repair work, all while ensuring that it is completed in compliance with federal and local regulations. Requirements: -Proven record for complying with safety requirements, and ability to build a culture of safety among subordinates and peers -If required by local regulations, certifications for performing supervisory electrical work in an industrial facility If required by local regulations, certifications needed for performing supervisory new construction or building repairs to an industrial facility -Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience -Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously -Can make solid decisions quickly based on limited information. -Experience managing time and budgets -Demonstrated team-building skills -Ability to build rapport and trust with others -Experience and willingness to mentor and coach others -Experience with repairing/maintaining some of the following types of systems or equipment: o Conveyors o Electro-pneumatic PLC controlled systems with photo eye detectors o Electrical systems, 440V or less o Hydraulic and pneumatic systems o Forklifts, reach trucks, floor sweepers, yard trucks o Automotive systems o HVAC o Basic Plumbing o Fabrication and Welding -Analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex problems; creative problem-solving -Communicates effectively -Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and various technical drawings -Highly motivated to the teams success as well as own success -Technical school degree preferred with at least 4 years demonstrated increasing responsibilities in a maintenance organization.
