Perform RCA using scripting, coding, database modeling, and business intelligence skills. Mitigate failures and provide resolution to avoid business impacts. Complete end-to-end analysis of data flow using complex Structured Query Language (\"SQL\") queries in GreenPlum database, and code written in Extraction Transformation & Loading (\"ETL\") tools, Hadoop and shell scripting. Verify the end-to-end data flow through the data modeling process and perform Data Definition Language (\"DDL\") and Data Manipulation Language (\"DML\") scripts. Identify production load failures by monitoring batch jobs created with UNIX scripts. Provide solutions for fixing failure to ensure that codes and scripts meet business requirements. Partner with Application Development (\"APP DEV\")/platform teams. Perform in-depth analysis of business data by writing complex SQL queries, debugging the root cause, and proposing solutions to the APP DEV teams. Interact with APP DEV and Platform Teams during problem-solving sessions to resolve issues. Support the APP DEV team in developing, testing, and implementing code change to meet business requirements/standards.Collaborate with Technology Administration Teams in supporting the initial code execution and migration and data validation to maintain the quality of the code in production. Interact with business users to gather the requirements to enhance the existing applications processes. Monitor performance of the platform by modifying the process and deliver data to business. Support periodical maintenance with Technology Administration Teams to monitor application health and remediate issues. Ensure Jobs are executed and business critical data is delivered to line of business as in Service Level Agreements (\"SLAs\"). Prioritize critical data loads within the operating system. Monitor various manual and automated alerts to ensure application wellness. Communicate with business users about the resolution with Production Delay Notices (\"PDN\") and Estimated Time of Availability (\"ETA\") of required data. Perform research and sources of production issues & Root Cause Analysis (\"RCA\"). Complete in-depth analysis of production issues and failures that occur during the ETL process in the codes and scripts. Perform RCA on production issues that occur during batch processing. Develop and utilize core support tools. Evaluate and adopt available software or tools, ETL techniques to improve the support team's ability to make sure jobs are executed and business data is delivered on time.Minimum education required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related field.Minimum experience required: 5 years of experience in Application Development / Support, or related experience.Skills Required: Must have JAVA experience. Must have Application Development or Support experience. Must have release management experience. Must have Automation Toolset experience. Must have ITIL methodologies (Incident, problem, change) experience. Must have Monitoring Tools (Splunk, Dynatrace) experience. Must have deployment management and validations experience.
