Create and make product labels according to specifications.
Perform cycle counts as needed.
Direct the activities of the team as needed.
Set up and operate all equipment.
Support all good manufacturing procedures (GMP).
Initiate and implement continuous improvement.
Assist in performing hands-on production.
Maintain or exceed level of quality and production.
Train all new employees to meet department goals and objectives.
Responsible for quality as a participant in our company s Quality Management System.
Responsible for ensuring accurate inventory.
Time confirm and MIGO all production orders.
Maintain control for filling and storage of all production orders.
Interface with QA/QC to ensure acceptance of finished goods.
Initiate or suggest new ideas for building a team oriented and collaborative work environment.
Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of one year relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment required.
Computer literate in Microsoft Office.
Strong technical approach and mechanical aptitude with a general knowledge of fundamental production procedures and system operations required.
Proven effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a team.
Ability to maintain a high standard of professional knowledge, ethics and practices when dealing with customers, suppliers, colleagues, subordinates, and supervisors.
Proven effective leadership approach with the ability to create a positive work environment.
Proven hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Ability to pay close attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
Quality conscious and excellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks.
Ability to work effectively as a member of team and establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Ability to ensure compliance to guidelines, policies, procedures and practices.
Ability to read, write and speak English.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to lift 35 pounds comfortably. Manual dexterity and proven hand and eye coordination. Position could involve sitting, standing, and/or lifting for long periods of time throughout the day.
