CNC Lathe Machinist
We are currently seeking a full-time CNC Lathe Machinist to work in our Long Island facility. This is a union position with Local 463 IUE-CWA.

What You Will Be Doing

- Must be able to setup and operate Mori Seki multi axis lathes and STAR Machines.

- Ability to read blueprints, precision measurement tools and interpret dimensions and tolerances.

- Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part and sample work pieces.

- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

What You Need for this Position

More Than 5 Years of experience and knowledge of:

- Strong set-up & inspection skills.

- Must have programming knowledge (G-Code).

- Must be able to work independently to close tolerances.

- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

- 5 - 7 years' experience working on CNC multi axis lathes.

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
