SUMMARY: Kelly Services in partnership with Bausch Health Companies is currently hiring a Manufacturing Operator for a Fortune 500 leader in the medical manufacturing industry located in Clearwater, FL. The goal of this position is to create small, surgically-inserted intraocular lenses according to production specifications and standards. The lenses are designed to correct cataracts in eye patients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs various lens fabrication and inspections duties to include lens machining, lens
polishing, finished production inspections and primary packaging
Ensure product meets all acceptable criteria per SOPs
Follow all FDA/CGMP regulations regarding traceability, and safety procedures
Support, encourage and participate in team related activities; report ideas or suggestions
Assist in training manufacturing associates using prescribed training methods and tools as
assigned by supervisor/management
Report unusual conditions and problems to supervisor and manufacturing lead; practice
In addition to the listed duties, the associate is normally expected to perform other similar related duties as assigned. Other Duties and Responsibilities include:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent
One or more years of manufacturing-related work experience; or equivalent combined of
education and experience
IOL manufacturing experience preferred
Knowledge of clean-rooms specific to proper clean-room behavior preferred

SHIFTS/PAY: 12-hour shift with a rotating 2-2-3 schedule. Work 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next week and will continue that cycle. Day Shift 7am-7pm $10/hr.Night Shift 7pm-7am $11/hr.
