GENERAL DESCRIPTION PURPOSE OF ROLE: Support the development and execution of all data quality initiatives and ongoing programs, ensuring data quality throughout Blue s Quality and Operations department, as well as internal and external communications across a variety of teams and platforms.

Looking for: Organized and enthusiastic professional, interested in supporting the programs and processes in product development and quality initiatives to ensure ongoing quality for Blue Buffalo s product portfolio. Motivated and eager to learn, willing to focus on data details that impact the end to end manufacturing, Highly adaptable, proactive in approach to problem solving, and a good communicator able to build collaborative relationships with cross-functional peers, external operations, and motivate teams to exceed expectations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assisting and supporting the quality data team as to manage and navigate the product life cycle management process and the creation of product specifications for use in manufacturing, packaging and shipping finished products. Supporting the efforts to improve efficiencies and validate the quality of data in systems that integrate throughout the entire supply chain. Act as a conduit and point of contact between the teams that provide data to the Quality team including Product Development, R&D and the Supply Chain departments. Contribute to, review and approve artwork, packaging, graphics and text of existing and proposed product labels to ensure accuracy, consistency, and regulation compliance. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current regulations, relevant technical product and processing information, industry trends and food labeling practices. Develop and inform communication for consumer and customer inquiries pertaining to product specifications. Lead with ideas for process and system simplification and standardization. Functional Skills Strong attention to detail and a highly organized in approach to all responsibilities. Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently Ability to work in a fast paced environment Ability to follow instructions and dependable in the execution of established procedures Ability to take the initiative, work as a team and identify/communicate ways to improve efficiency QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor s Degree Must be able to work in an environment with free-roaming pets.Pet parent preferred
