To learn more about Berry, visit **PURPOSE:** The Office Administrator position is imperative to the day-to-day success of the plant. This position will be responsible for cheerfully supporting both our internal and external customers in a challenging and fast-paced role. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for tasks ranging from weekly processing of hourly payroll & completion of tasks in all functional areas within Human Resources responsibilities to purchasing of non-raw materials for the plant. This position also serves on the front lines of the office and welcomes & directs our visitors as they enter the building. As a key member of the team, this position will report to the Human Resources Manager and work closely with the Supply Chain Manager & other members of the Plant Management Team. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Maintain responsibilities in all Human Resources areas, including but not limited to recruitment, benefits, plant communications, staffing, performance management, training & development + Weekly processing of Hourly Payroll + Support front office by friendly greeting & helpful direction for visitors + Manage all non-raw material purchases for plant + Other responsibilities, as assigned **QUALIFICATIONS:** + (4) year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field -OR- relevant combination of education & experience + 3+ years' experience in role with similar responsibilities + Proficiency with Microsoft Office + Proficiency with Kronos Timekeeping System + Working knowledge of Federal and State labor laws, including FMLA/ADA + Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality + Exemplary interpersonal & relationship building skills + Outstanding verbal & written communication skills We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
