A Tool Design Technical Lead job in Windsor, CT is currently available at Belcan. This job is a full-time direct position with benefits. To be considered for this role, you will need a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering with five to 10 years of experience. In this role you will lead a team of tool designers that develop tools for assembly, disassembly, machining, and component test.
Tool Design Technical Lead job duties:
Ensure design meets functional requirements, cost targets, and delivery schedules
Present and participate in design reviews
Interface with multi-discipline team and customer to achieve project objectives
Generate 3D CAD models of design concepts and be able to generate 2D drawings if required
Execute tolerance studies to ensure proper fit and function
Establish schedules, standard work, review processes and cost estimates for all designs
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
Five to 10 years of design experience
Experience with using either Pro/E, CREO, NX or Solidworks
Understanding of machining processes and machine shop practices.
