Our New York City office is currently looking for a Plumbing/Fire Protection Engineer. You'd be joining our multi-disciplinary team to work on a wide range of medium to large scale projects.

Your responsibilities will involve:

* Attend meetings and communicate with clients to establish their needs and discuss design issues with them.
* Coordinate work with engineers of other disciplines/companies.
* Incorporate sustainable design methods in buildings.
* Prepare drawings detailing the systems designed. System design calculations.
* Select equipment for use in building systems.
* Construction administration - site visits
* Report writing / specification preparation

Qualified professionals will have:

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a sound knowledge of engineering fundamentals.
* 4 or more years of professional work experience in plumbing / fire protection
* Revit Proficiency
* Proven interest in working in the field of plumbing and fire protection systems.
* EIT or FE license preferred
