Our Disassembly Technicians perform various manual, semi-skilled tasks related to disassembling appliances for the recycling process. We provide on-the-job training.
Disassemble appliances prior to and/or after CFC evacuation according to company standards, procedures, and safety rules. This includes removing shelves, doors, plastic, glass, and gaining access to the foam within these units by cutting, chipping, peeling, and remove the foam for proper processing.
Load and unload trucks as needed, move appliance thru recycling process.
Follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures; wear and use proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times; report unsafe working conditions to the Center Manager.
Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition; report damaged tools or equipment to the Center Manager; keep all tools in secure area; maintain clean work spaces.
Protect the company's assets from internal and external theft.
Assume other responsibilities from time to time as directed.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
A commitment to high professional ethical standards.
Previous warehouse experience.
Aptitude to remain calm, pleasant, and professional while under strenuous physical requirements as well as strict time schedules and changing priorities, while performing the job in a safe manner.
Pleasant, polite manner when working with fellow co-workers.
May be required to work overtime due to fluctuations in business volume and staffing.
This is a physically demanding position; you must be able to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances.
Must be able to pass a company pre-employment physical exam, drug test, and criminal background check.
This position is subject to random drug tests for safety sensitive positions.
